Baroness Sally Hamwee

Sally has been a board member since 2009, and currently serves on the Finance Committee. She is a (now non-practising) solicitor; for most of her career she was a partner in Clintons, which specialises in entertainment and media law. Other current charity work includes membership of the board of Safer London and of an advisory board for Missing People. She was a long-serving councillor in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, chaired the London Assembly (part of the Greater London Authority), and was appointed a Liberal Democrat life peer in 1991. She is currently a member of the Joint Select Committee on Human Rights and a Lib Dem spokesperson on Home Affairs.
