Spring is almost over which means we're about to head into another summer of exciting festivals.
We kick off our season with Kingston Onstage, a free festival run by Kingston university showcasing the very best in dance, film, drama and music.
Hot on its heals we're pleased to welcome back Ignition Dance Festival 2017. This two day festival, now in its fourth year, provides a platform for up and coming choreographers and dancers. The second day of the festival focuses on emerging talent within the local community with students from Kingston University being given the chance to perform on the Rose stage.
Following on from this we have the International Youth Arts Festival taking over the streets and venues of Kingston for ten jam packed days! This eclectic festival covers all areas of the arts with an exciting programme featuring music, theatre, comedy and visual art. Highlights include a performance from the Thames Youth Orchestra led by artist James Mayhew as well as a showcase from the hugley talented Elmbridge Dance.
Whatever you do make sure not to miss this exciting season at the Rose.
