King John opens

Thu 19 May

King John officially opened last night (Wed 18 May) with press and guests attending the performance and post-show reception.

The production is directed by Trevor Nunn, and is the penultimate play in his mission to direct all 37 of Shakespeare’s works. Cast includes Jamie Ballard (The Hollow Crown), Howard Charles (The Musketeers), Maggie Steed (Pie in the Sky) and Lisa Dillon (Lucky Man).

We caught up with some audience members after the show, including The Wars of the Roses cast members Robert Sheehan and Michael Xavier. Here’s what they had to say.
