In the new year we're thrilled to present our new Rose co-production The Herbal Bed, telling the scandalous story of Shakespeare’s daughter. Olivier Award-winner Matthew Kelly stars in Richard Bean’s Toast in February and the critically-acclaimed savage comedy about family and faith, Bad Jews, plays in April. The ever-popular Northern Broadsides also return with their joyful production of The Merry Wives. Add to this, Nocturne, a unique combination of music and theatre featuring acclaimed actors Harriet Walter and Henry Goodman.
Beat the January blues with talks and comedy on the subject of happiness from Gyles Brandreth and Professor Robert Winston. We also have exceptional comedy from The All-Star Stand-Up Tour, Russell Kane and Fascinating Aida's Dillie Keane. Also just announced, comedians Sean Lock (Mon 22 Feb) and Adam Hills (Sun 13 Mar)!
For younger audiences there's the return of our Olivier Award-nominated West End hit, Hetty Feather, and our co-production, a magical new take on Roald Dahl’s The Witches - coming to us during the Easter holidays. As well as this we have unmissable musical high jinks from Mr Popper's Penguins, our Rose Youth production Watership Down, delightful escapades with The Gruffalo's Child and aquatic adventures from Tiddler & other Terrific Tales.
For music lovers, Claire Martin OBE and Ray Gelato promise to get your toes tapping with a night of Jazz, we bring you the brilliant Blues Band, and welcome back the world class Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. For something a little different look to Ockham’s Razor’s intimate yet extreme circus show Tipping Point or watch renowned restaurant critic Jay Rayner as he mixes live music with comedic confessions. Add to this, the Rose Fashion Show returns to bring you all the latest trends!
