The Big Give: Support Let Me In Festival 2020

27 November 2019

Rose Theatre Kingston is gearing up to double supporters’ Christmas donations by taking part in the UK’s biggest match funding campaign, The Big Give’s Christmas Challenge 2019.

Now in its twefth year, The Christmas Challenge launches at midday on Tue 3 Dec and runs until Tue 10 Dec. Throughout the week, all donations made towards Let Mi In festival will matched (up to £50,000 per organisation), doubling the impact of our fundraising.

The Rose is committed to presenting work by, for and about young people and adults with a range of physical, learning and sensory needs. Our inclusive and accessible arts festival Let Me In celebrates this work, offering a transformative experience for people of all ages and abilities and from a variety of backgrounds.

Let Me In festival will return once again in June 2020, with performance, activities and workshops for those with physical, learning and sensory needs. Our mission for this festival is to continue to present and collaborate with reowned companies and open our building and programme up to being truly inclusive.

Festival Co-ordinator, Harriet Astbury, says:

Fostering inclusivity is at the heart of what we do at the Rose, so having the chance to celebrate that with a diverse range of guests is really rewarding.

The Big Give matches donations through partnerships with over 20 funding Champions, including Reed Foundation, The Childhood Trust, Four Acre Trust and the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
