The Wind in the Willows to support local charities

Wed 09 Nov

Christmas is the time for goodwill, community spirit and charity, so during our Christmas production of The Wind in the Willows, we will be collecting for four local charities.

Following on from the success of last year’s charity collections, this Christmas we will once again be collecting for four local charities. These are:

Surrey Wildlife Trust (Tue 6 - Mon 12 Dec), who manages almost 8,000 hectares of land in Surrey and has transformed the fortunes of some of Surrey’s most threatened species.

Refugee Action Kingston (Tue 13 - Mon 19 Dec), supporting, advising and empowering refugees and asylum seekers towards building fulfilled and independent lives.

Joel Community Services (Tue 20 - Mon 26 Dec), providing food, friendship and shelter to people suffering homelessness.

And, being a charity ourselves, the Rose’s learning and participation programme (Tue 27 Dec - Tue 3 Jan), aiming to inspire young people and adults alike through the power of theatre and provide creative opportunities for all.
