Alcindo - The Film – (Portugal) – Documentary directed by Miguel Dores:

On June 10, 1995, under the multiple pretext of celebrating Race Day and Sporting's victory for the Portuguese Cup, a large group of Portuguese ethno-nationalists took to the streets of Bairro Alto to beat up black people they encountered along the way. . The official result was 11 victims, one of them mortal, whose tragic death on Rua Garret gives the name to the court case - the Alcindo Monteiro case. This is a documentary about a long night - a night the size of a country

The Carrier is a deeply personal story about how one moment or one mistake can change your life. A two-hander between two deeply troubled men, we explore the importance of genetics, the trauma of dealing with a child's disability and how one man's pain is another's salvation.  Each character see-saws between hope and acceptance, grief and anger until the very end of their confrontation.
