Jazz First Tuesday - Dave Jones Affinity

For Jazz First Tuesday Dave leads his new quartet through a set of originals and classic standards with a funky twist.

Dave's bass playing in recent years has included Ronnie Scott’s Soul and Jazz Orchestra, Pete Cater Big Band, Way Out West Jazz Collective, Julian Costello, Stefanos Tsourelis Trio, Tom Seals, Brandon Allen and Jeremy Sassoon. He has played with many top UK jazz artists and visiting US stars such as Howard Levy and drummers Steve Gadd and Keith Carlock.  He leads his own groups such as Dave Jones’ Affinity and Dave Jones’ Nonet and is active in jazz education, leading courses at Richmond Jazz School and several international jazz summer schools.
