Open Wound is a solo show about breakups, relationships, decisions and broken hearts. It explores how the heightened gendered, radicalised and classed social expectations in the new global context permeate the most intimate relationships. The show was commissioned by In Good Company as the Package Holiday Production at Departure Lounge, Derby Theatre’s flagship contemporary performance festival.
Cheeky Chin is a London-based collective of theatre makers of East Asian descent creating original, insightful work which challenges cultural stereotyping. They make innovative devised theatre performances of socio-political importance with an East Asian perspective.
