Mark Twain's classic comedy adventure is an ideal show for all the family.
It is London in the reign of King Henry VIII. Two babies are born on the same day: one is the son of King Henry; the other is the son of the thief John Canty. When they are older, Tom Canty dreams of being a Prince and Prince Edward longs to escape the boredom of Palace life. Their dreams come true when Tom smuggles himself into the Palace and meets the Prince. They change clothes for a joke and soon one is mistaken for the other. The Prince finds himself thrown out into the London streets among violent thieves and beggars, while Tom has to quickly learn the ways of a Prince. When King Henry dies, will the real Prince be crowned as the new king or will Tom Canty?
