ARCHIVED COVID-19 Safety Measures & Procedures

Your Visit

The Rose is a COVID secure venue and we’re proud to be See it Safely approved by SOLT and UK Theatre.  You can feel confident and safe knowing that we are COVID-secure and following the latest government and performing arts guidelines.

Our audiences’ safety and wellbeing will always be at the forefront of our planning and for all performances we will continue to follow the safety and hygiene measures for businesses set out by the government in its performing arts guidance.

Socially Distanced Productions

Having listened to the concerns of our loyal audiences, we have taken the decision to keep at least one performance socially distanced across key productions in our 21/22 Season. Currently these are:

Beauty and the Beast – Sunday 2 January, 6:30pm

Persuasion – Wednesday 16 March, 7:30pm

A Monster Calls – Wednesday 6 April, 7pm

At socially distanced performances, tickets are only available in fixed groups, where 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or a maximum of 6 tickets are seated together; each group is distanced by 1m+ from the other groups.

Wear a face covering at all times at the Rose unless exempt.

Book with confidence

We allow maximum flexibility for you to exchange your ticket(s) up to 24 hours before the performance.

Tickets are available to buy online in advance so we can ensure the easiest, quickest and safest entry to our theatres.

Your tickets will be sent by email before the performance to avoid the need for Box Office collection.

Rest assured, you will be entitled to an exchange or refund should government guidelines lead to any changes in our performance schedules.

We appreciate that this will be a different experience from your usual visits to the Rose, but we hope to ensure it will be just as memorable and enjoyable.

Please respect our staff, adhere to our precautions and work with us to fight this virus.

If you have any concerns or further questions regarding our COVID-19 safety precautions, please contact [email protected]

Thank you in advance for your support and cooperation.
