Join Academy award-winning actor Hayley Mills as she sits down in conversation with Christopher Haydon for a very special evening to raise money for the Rose as part of our ‘In conversation with…’ series.
After starting her career at the age of nine, Hayley was twelve years old when she made her first feature film, Tiger Bay, and won an Academy Award at the age of thirteen in 1961 for her leading performance in Pollyanna. She went on to star in such films as The Parent Trap (1961), Whistle Down the Wind (1961), The Family Way (1966), Endless Night (1971) and Appointment With Death (1988).
Hayley will share anecdotes from across her career and some of her favourite behind the scenes stories. Following a short interval, there will be an opportunity for audience members to put their own questions to Hayley.
Don't miss out on the opportunity to hear from one of the UK's leading actors. Tickets are strictly limited and available from £20.
The Rose is a registered charity (registered as Kingston Theatre Trust, Charity no. 1000182) and ticket sales cover less than two thirds of our costs; we rely on donations from our loyal supporters to continue the great work we do. Proceeds from this fundraising event will support the Rose to deliver first-class productions, develop learning and cultural opportunities, and build a vibrant cultural heart for our community.
Running time: Approx. 1hr 40mins, incl. interval
