Oğuz Kaplangı is an award-winning Turkish composer and sound designer based in Edinburgh and London. Oğuz founded “Creatrax” in the UK in 2018, specialising in theatre music production and sound design. Simultaneously, he owns "Elec-Trip" in Istanbul, focusing on commercial music, games music, and film music productions. 

In the theatre domain, Oğuz has contributed to productions like Hamnet, A Museum in Baghdad, and #WeAreArrested (RSC); Arabian Nights (Bristol Old Vic); Macbeth (an Undoing), The Duchess (of Malfi), Mrs Puntila and Her Man Matti, Rhinoceros (Royal Lyceum Theatre); Still, The Monstrous Heart (Traverse Theatre); Treasure Island (Cumbernauld Theatre); Positive Stories for Negative Times (Wonder Fools); The Alchemist (Tron Theatre); Meet Me at Dawn (DOT/Arcola Theatre); 1984, Yanginlar (Incendies), Let the Right One In, How to Hold Your Breath (DOT). His artistic influence extends to dance performances, including the critically acclaimed "A Wee Journey" at the Edinburgh International Festival.
