GORDON'S ALIVE! Join Christopher Haydon, Artistic Director at the Rose, as he sits down in conversation with the living legend that is Brian Blessed for a wildly entertaining evening raising money for Rose Theatre and PHASE Worldwide.

Brian will be regaling us with stories from his remarkable life. From starring in Flash Gordon, Blackadder and Star Wars, to climbing mount Everest and delivering a baby in Richmond Park, he has done it all.

An intimate conversation, there will also be an opportunity for audience members to ask questions following a short interval. So if you have burning questions about anything - from his experience starring in the original production of the musical Cats, to running rings around Paul Merton and Ian Hislop on Have I Got News for You - then this is your opportunity. Don't miss out!

The Rose is a registered charity (registered as Kingston Theatre Trust, Charity no. 1000182) and ticket sales cover less than two thirds of our costs; we rely on donations from our loyal supporters to continue the great work we do. Proceeds from this fundraising event will support the Rose to deliver first-class productions, develop learning and cultural opportunities, and build a vibrant cultural heart for our community.

PHASE Worldwide believes that everyone, everywhere, even those in the most remote places in the world, should have access to primary healthcare, basic education, and livelihood opportunities. Every year, the work they support changes the lives of over 50,000 people in some of the remotest parts of Nepal. Their core work includes supporting health posts in remote regions with nursing and midwifery staff, providing medicines and training, alongside working with the communities to develop livelihood opportunities.
