Join us and step into Kingston's wilder side for a show that will celebrate our natural world like never before. This inspirational event will introduce you to some of the fascinating creatures that also call Kingston home, opening your eyes to a world that surround us though is rarely seen.
Through a series of high energy, informative and fun talks, we will bring to life and showcase our wildlife, celebrating the living world around us. We have some incredible speakers lined up including:
Dr George McGavin - BBC wildlife presenter, The One Show's 'Bug Man' and world renowned entomologist and explorer.
David Lindo - 'The Urban Birder' broadcaster on TV and radio who has brought London's birds to our screens as well as an author of several bird books.
Derek Gow - who in our opinion is one of the most forward thinking and proactive conservationists in the UK and who will be helping Citizen Zoo bring water voles back to our local river!
For more information on all of our speakers click here.
Guests will also be treated to the premiere of the short film ‘The Hogsmill’ narrated by the wonderful Griff Rhys Jones and filmed by local BBC wildlife cameraman, Tom Hooker, who has worked on several high profile wildlife productions such as Blue Planet 2.
This momentous event will also bring together the incredible communities and groups across Kingston, who actively work to support and enhance our natural world, demonstrating how everyone can make a real and positive difference to our local environment.
Suitable for the young and old, those who love wildlife and want to learn a bit more as well as experienced conservationists, don’t miss this special one-off chance when we will be bringing Kingston together for one night to focus on the amazing natural world around us!
