Antonia Thomas

Antonia Thomas starred as female lead Dr. Claire Brown in four seasons of the hugely successful ABC drama THE GOOD DOCTOR, opposite Freddie Highmore. THE GOOD DOCTOR centres on a young surgeon with Savant syndrome who is recruited into the paediatric surgical unit of a prestigious hospital. Most recently, Antonia has been seen starring alongside an all-star cast in Channel 4’s thrilling crime drama SUSPECT. She has also recently been seen opposite John Boyega, in Steve McQueen's BAFTA nominated Amazon/BBC series SMALL AXE. She can currently be seen on Netflix in the much-loved role as ‘Evie’ in the wildly popular Netflix series LOVESICK, previously titled SCROTAL RECALL, starring opposite Johnny Flynn. She will next be seen in Lionsgate supernatural thriller THE BAGMAN, opposite Sam Claflin, and Apple TV+ comedy STILL UP, opposite Craig Roberts.

Perhaps best known for her role as Alisha Bailey in the cult sci-fi drama MISFITS, Thomas has also appeared in a number of notable television series, including the BBC America hit drama THE MUSKETEERS, ITV’s mini-series HOMEFRONT; BBC’s mini-series THE DEEP opposite James Nesbitt and Minnie Driver; and has also lent her voice to the reboot of the original 1997 hit children’s series, TELETUBBIES.

On the big screen, Thomas first made her mark with a leading performance in Dexter Fletcher’s musical SUNSHINE ON LEITH, which she received a 2014 Empire Awards nomination for Best Female Newcomer. That same year, she appeared in Billy O'Brien’s sci-fi THE HYBRID and Elaine Constantine’s musical drama NORTHERN SOUL. This was followed by a plethora of buzzworthy independent films, including James McTeigue’scrime thriller SURVIVOR opposite Milla Jovovich, Pierce Brosnan, and Angela Bassett; Nirpal Bhogal’s Netflix horror FIRSTBORN; and Avril E. Russell’s thriller REARVIEW.
