Puppetry Director

Matthew trained as an actor at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, specialising in Collaborative and Devised Theatre. He works internationally as an Actor and Director, with a strong focus on Puppetry and Physical Theatre.

 Puppetry & Movement Directing credits include: War Horse (UK & International Tour 2019-2020/ UK Tour 2017-2019/ Holland & Belgium Tour 2014-2016/ Ireland & South African Tour 2013-2015); L’Olimpiade (Irish National Opera); The Magic Flute (Welsh National Opera); Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (UK Tour); A Christmas Carol (Nottingham Playhouse/Alexandra Palace); The Good Life (UK Tour); Hansel & Gretel (Opera Holland Park); Ragtime, Once on this Island (ArtsEd); Skellig, Holes, Hansel & Gretel (Nottingham Playhouse); Babe, The Sheep-Pig (Polka Theatre); The Witches (Dundee Rep); The Steadfast Tin Soldier (Little Angel Theatre); Mr Toad (UK Tour); The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland (UK Tour); and Treasure Island (Leicester Haymarket Theatre).
