It’s just a game is a comedic and at times dark portrayal of what it is to live in a world where your every move and so-called failures are being witnessed by those around you. Set in 1980’s London, it explores the idea of public humiliation and the rapid spread of news before the invention of social media. It begins with 5 central characters competing in a gameshow for a cash prize, and follows them through a journey of betrayal, exposure and consequence as we learn the real reasons they entered the gameshow in the first place.
