Joanna’s theatre credits include: Standby Heidi/Cynthia in Dear Evan Hansen (Noel Coward), Chief Clerk in Committee (Donmar Warehouse), Daisy in The Adding Machine (Finborough Theatre), Shutters (Park Theatre), A Chorus of Disapproval (Harold Pinter), Iola Stover in the original London production of Parade (Donmar Warehouse), Jennifer Gabriel in The Witches of Eastwick (No 1 Tour), Hortense in The Baker’s Wife (The Union), Dottie in Show Boat (Royal Albert Hall), the original cast of The Woman in White (Palace), Edith in Pirates of Penzance and u/s Wendy in Peter Pan (Savoy Theatre), Desdemona in Othello (Man in the Moon) and Olivia in Twelfth Night (Pentameters). 

On television, Jo has been seen as Elaine Gere in Suspicion, Laura Mayer in Doctors, Mrs Jacobs in St Milligan’s Wharf, Georgina Jones in Martin Chuzzlewit (BBC), Zoe Moran in The Bill (ITV), Nicola Fallon in both Casualty and Holby City (BBC), Alice Beverley in Children of the New Forest (BBC) and as a Hill’s Little Angel on The Benny Hill Show

Her film work includes the title role in Emily’s Dance and Paula in Muscle Memory.

Jo was part of a fundraising production when The Rose was under construction and grew up in Kingston so is thrilled to come full circle.
